FAQ - During filming

What will actually happen on the day?
  • We’ll phone you the day before the shoot to make sure that you are prepared, and to answer any last minute questions you may have
  • Our team of 2 (camera operator and director) will arrive at the pre-arranged time. They’ll expect you to give them a quick tour of your site so that they can check out the best filming locations and angles. Whilst on the tour they will choose a location for the main interview.
  • After the tour, one of the team will set up the camera, lights and sound equipment to film the interview, while you accompany the other as he or she films supporting material. This could be your team at work, interacting with customers, or a range of products.
  • We’ll then film the main interview - this will take between 10 and 15 minutes, and feels more like a friendly chat than trial by television!
  • After the interview is over, we’ll take a few final shots (to illustrate any specific points you made in the interview). Wherever appropriate, we film some exterior images of your premises so that customers can recognise you.
I’m a nervous person on camera, what if I can’t do it?
Don’t worry! We have every confidence in you. You are the best person for the job, that’s why it’s your business. Our trained team have years of experience and know how to lead an interview. We will make you feel at ease and ask the right questions. All you need to do is answer honestly and it will be a great success! However, if you really don’t wish to appear on camera then that’s fine. We’ll still chat to you and record your comments and use that as the basis for a narration to the video. For an additional cost of £150 we can have your words read by a professional voice-over artist.
How will you know the right questions to ask?
We know what makes a great video and how to deliver a message, after all; it’s what we do! Our skilled team have handled many interviews and have become quite adept at it! However if there is anything specific you’d like us to include then simply mention it to us.
